Travel souvenirs

California

Free time is becoming a precious gift out here with the amount of schoolwork I have piled up. I’m so ready for it to be the 4th of December so that it will all be over. For the time being that is.

So I can’t think of anything better than to reminisce about sunnier and funnier times at the moment. Especially visiting new and undiscovered territory is one of my favourite things in the world. And according to WGSN you can now show off all the places you visited just by wearing them on your tee or sweater – thank God, I started collecting these things ages ago already.
The vintage ones are the really cool ones of course with a lot of cheesy pictures of landmarks, palm trees and beaches. This type of clothing is suitable for both girls and boys so maybe you can steal some of your friends. Just a suggestion – for people who have no money, like me.

Versatile beanies

Beanies are a super trend this year, that’s obvious if you look around on the street. They are comfortable and add a certain edginess to your look. This can work for both boys and girls – so don’t feel ashamed stealing your boyfriend’s. After spotting some people on the London streets with these winter hats, it’s clear that there is not just one way you can wear this beanie. So I forced my brother to model for my camera and show you 5 ways you can style your bonnet to fit your daily mood.

So what is your favorite?

P.S.: Thanks for putting up with me, bro! :)

All things pretty are pink

Think cotton candy, rainbows and unicorns. This for the girly girls who know in their hearts that they will always have a love-relationship with the colour pink.

Although pink was never out of style, it is now back! And stronger then ever. Or it will be at least, next season. After one of my lectures on trends, I was advised to take a look at trend forecaster Li Edelkoort. She is a Dutch woman – how could she be anything else – who is like a guru when it comes to forecasting trends. And it just seems to be that she predicts a very bright future for my beloved pink colour. Yes, I dyed my hair pink and I would do it again anytime.

This new pink is not the girly Barbie pink though. It is a strong pink that stands for provocation and in your face-ness. Who could not looooove that! It is all about revolutionizing and being a rebel in pink.

Here are some things on my pink wish list:

Marc Jacobs

Stella McCartney
