It has been a while
since I last talked to you, so hi there! It has been a crazy but great week. I
came back from la bella Italia last Tuesday and Thursday morning I found myself
in a plane to London town for a hectic house hunt. I can now say I have seen
London the way it really is, when you’re not in the tourist zone. Although I
some real bad addresses to live, I found a place to stay for 5 months while I
will be studying there.
Of course it was not all work and no play in LDN. My dad and I did some extreme ’touristing’ whenever we had an hour of time – read run to St. Paul’s, the Millennium Bridge, the London Bridge, Trafalgar Square, Picadilly Circus, Regent Street etc. I can tell you, I was exhausted when I got back home! But o how I enjoyed every minute of it. I’m so super excited to move to London the 26th. The city is almost like a drug to me, I love the billions of people running around, the take-out food, the fastness.

I came back to Belgium
Saturday evening and yesterday I had a cool get-together with my friends at
home, to celebrate me leaving. J I can understand their happiness though – just kidding. It was a kind
of all British tea party, resulting in getting French fries after all. Got some
cool gifts also, more on that later. And no Daan, there will be no pictures of
yours!
xoxo
Soon to be British
